Capron Rescue EMTs & Paramedics 2018
Capron Rescue staffs duty crews part-time AM and PM. This provides around the clock EMS coverage to the Paramedic level. Currently, we have two ambulances staffed 24/7. One unit is out of Station #2 located on Poplar Grove Road, and the other unit is staffed at Station #3 in Candlewick Lake subdivision.
Quick Response Vehicle
2801 is a Quick Response Vehicle stocked with Advanced Life Support drugs, equipment, and staffed with a paramedic as needed.
This truck also has additional trauma/medical care supplies and other equipment for rapid deployment in mass casualty situations. It can also provide EMS command on certain types of calls.
This vehicle is out and about doing community education, post follow up care, and other public relations for the communities we service.
Capron Rescue utilizes MD-1 for accidents and incidents where the need of the patient is such that an EMS physician’s early intervention could make a significant difference in the outcome. MD-1 carries the items found in a ER, which they bring to the scene and can be used during transport. From chest tubes to central lines, they also carry an automatic chest compression device, as well as an ultrasound. Having our MD-1 doctors on location is extremely helpful, not only with patient care but it also teaches our Paramedics and EMTs in a “real life” learning environment. MD-1 program is certainly cutting edge for emergency medicine, more so than your traditional system.
